Funding Partners
We are actively seeking funding partners to collaborate with on projects that increase access to the arts to under-represented audiences.
We hope to contribute our expertise to projects that otherwise would be lacking a structured approach to audience engagement or that wouldn’t meet the ACE funding eligibility requirements; whilst advancing our research portfolio.
Through a joint application we can leverage our unparalleled understanding of cultural audiences to ensure that the public receives maximum value from the project being proposed. Our expectation is that the partnering organization presents an offer or programme they would like to develop, and possesses the necessary infrastructure to make it happen.
Who we’d like to hear from,
We are particularly interested in cultural organisations, charities, and community groups whose work is focused on widening access, deepening experience and place-making for traditionally underrepresented or under-engaged audiences, for whom additional funding would ensure mid-term stability.
Our relationship with Arts Council England
Having worked closely with ACE on audience strategy R&D, in addition to providing bid writing support, we are well-versed in ACE’s audience targets, including the specifics outlined in Let’s Create.
Rejected applications
From our experience rejected applications are commonly due to underdeveloped public engagement sections. As a result, we are consistently consulted to strengthen applications by rewriting these sections. Remarkably, 80% of the applications we rewrite are subsequently accepted; by demonstrating how a project will directly contribute to continued impact and resonance.
